Securing the Materials Behind the Energy Transition

The IMC Mission

At IMC Rare Earths, we aren’t just mining, we’re helping build a more secure supply of the materials the modern world runs on. As the world pivots toward electric mobility, renewable energy and advanced aerospace, demand for high-grade Magnetic Rare Earth Oxides (MREOs) is intensifying, and the supply base remains heavily concentrated. IMC is developing one of the largest high-grade Dysprosium (Dy) and Terbium (Tb) resources outside China and Myanmar. We aim to be more than a resource company, a strategic contributor to a diversified, Western‑aligned supply chain.

Why IMC Rare Earths

The Right Location

Situated in Brazil, an established, mining-friendly jurisdiction, our operations offer a stable, transparent alternative to concentrated supply routes, with real infrastructure and a clear permitting framework.

The Right Elements

While many projects are weighted toward light rare earths, IMC is biased toward heavy magnet rare earths. Dysprosium and Terbium are the “secret ingredients” that help permanent magnets resist demagnetization at high operating temperatures, the property that keeps EV motors and defense systems performing reliably under heat.

The Right Method

Our Itarantim Project is a world‑class Ionic Absorption Clay deposit. Compared with hard‑rock mining, clay‑hosted mineralization can allow for simpler, lower-cost and lower-impact extraction, a potential advantage inherent to this deposit type, which our ongoing studies are designed to confirm at scale.

Scale With Significant Upside

The Itarantim Project is a giant in the making. It hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 1.1 billion tonnes, defined from only part of the total land package (currently <15% explored), which points to substantial exploration upside. We are steadily expanding our footprint to address rising global demand for the elements that underpin modern technology.
